How do I access my account/login?
On the top of the website you’ll find a menu. Click the sign-in button and follow the instructions. Once you do that, go to the top of the menu and click account. From there, you can access all your account information, including your membership.
How do I update my payment information?
Follow the instructions to access your account, click account and then scroll down and click the “view billing info”. From there, you can use our payment system to update your card
How do I cancel my account?
Login, click the account button at the top and click cancel paid subscription. If you don’t see that, please email [email protected]
How do I change my email address?
Follow the instructions above to access your account. Once logged in, go to account in the top right corner, go to account profile at the top of the screen and click the three dots to the right. You can change your email address there.
How do I reset my password?
You can do that by clicking here. Once there, you can click the login with password and then set new password
I cannot access paywalled stories
Like other news sites, you’ll need to login to read the stories. You can do this by clicking on login in the menu bar, and either inputting your password or your one-time code that’s sent to your email.

I’m not getting your emails.
Please check your spam. If not there, please login with your email address, go to account and make sure you’re subscribed to our emails
How are you funded?
Around 75% of your revenue comes from members, which is incredibly high for the local news industry. Another 20% is ads and around 5% from the government
Who owns the Lookout?
The Lookout is owned by Lookout founder Geoff Sharpe. There are no outside shareholders, meaning we can invest the money we make back into our journalism
